MenuPilot keeps the dinner details small and specific.

You can use the MenuPilot iOS app without creating a MenuPilot account. If you choose to create one, Supabase processes your email address, display name when provided, authentication provider, and account identifier. Google and Apple process their own sign-in flows when you choose those options.

Menu photos are read on the device with Apple's text-recognition tools and are not retained by MenuPilot after recognition. Your preferences, allergy and avoidance reminders, current parsed menu, remembered orders, and taste feedback are stored on the device. MenuPilot may fetch a public restaurant menu URL that you enter or scan so the device can read that page. The app does not send menu photos or saved order history to an advertising network.

Consumer subscriptions purchased in the iOS app are processed by Apple through StoreKit. MenuPilot checks Apple's signed entitlement information on the device and may attach your MenuPilot account identifier to a new purchase when you are signed in. MenuPilot does not receive your full payment-card details. Stripe is used only for separate web and restaurant billing flows and processes payment information under Stripe's own privacy terms.

If you save an order, MenuPilot asks whether it may send a local taste-check notification. The notification includes an identifier for the matching saved order so the app can open it. If you decline, the taste check remains available inside Saved.

You can permanently delete your MenuPilot account from the account panel in the app. Account deletion removes the Supabase user and associated server-side account records. Deleting a MenuPilot account does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage or cancel Apple billing in your App Store subscription settings before deletion if you do not want it to renew.

The website pilot form asks for your interest type, contact details, restaurant or company details if you share them, POS setup, and a short message. The Plus waitlist asks only for your email and consent. We use that information to reply about MenuPilot beta access, restaurant pilots, partner conversations, or MenuPilot Plus.

Do not send allergy, health, payment, or sensitive personal details through the forms. MenuPilot can help you choose, but restaurant staff should always confirm allergens, ingredients, and preparation details.

When Supabase is configured, form submissions are stored in a private leads table with Row Level Security enabled. Public visitors can submit leads but cannot read the lead list.

The marketing site also records low-detail launch events such as page views, decoder runs, calculator changes, CTA clicks, direct-contact clicks, and form success or error states. These events use an anonymous browser session ID, page path, UTM fields, and basic tool details. They do not include names, email addresses, raw decoder phrases, saved app orders, or email body text. Contact details are stored separately only when you send a form or email us directly.
